Important new film on PMS
28 Dec 2009
Appeal for suitable sufferers to contact the film company:your action could help improve the lives of thousands of women.
We are a company who has been commissioned by the NHS to produce a film on PMS for the NHS Choices Website (www.nhs.uk). This will be a short 3 - 5 minute film aimed at women who suffer from PMS and don't know what to do or feel as though they are wasting their GP's time by going to see them. We want to highlight that PMS can have a drastic affect on women's lives and it is important to seek help as their are treatment options available. This is going to be a positive piece showing that there are many other women who suffer from PMS and there is help out there. We are looking for a case study of someone who suffered from PMS, and have now combated it or at least alleviated the symptoms so they can still carry on as normal. We are ideally looking for someone who went to their GP or something similar and received help. We want a fairly middle of the road case study so someone that isn't on the extreme end of the scale but equally not someone whose PMS does not affect them very much.
PmWe are happy to travel to you or pay for your expenses down to London. We will be exploring their symptoms, how this affected your (life, friends or family), where you went for help, what treatment did you have (contraceptive pill, change in diet etc whatever worked for them) and their advice to other women.
In terms of a timeframe we would like to film as soon as possible but by the end of w/c 4th January if we are unable to do it before Christmas
