Guidelines continue to attract media interest
On 29th May Woman's Hour featured the role of GPs in the treatment of PMS as a result of a press release which told of 10,237 copies of the NAPS Guidelines on PMS being sent to all GP surgeries and walk-in centres in the UK. Nick Panay, the author of the guidelines and Chairman of NAPS was interviewed by Jenni Murray and we are grateful to a (NAPS member) for putting the sufferer's point of view so authentically.
Nick Panay was also interviewed by a journalist commissioned by The Times. Her article, which at the time of writing is still to be published, also includes a substantial interview with Ann Wilkinson on her experience as a severe PMS sufferer and we are grateful to her too for being willing to share her story publicly.
An article on PMS also appeared in The Sunday Mirror which carried the NAPS website address.
