Redclover research study off to a fantastic start
8 Dec 2006
The study into the effectiveness of red clover isoflavones on pre-menstrual syndrome is surging ahead with more than 100 enquiries from women around the country so far who are experiencing symptoms of PMS.
The study is being led by Consultant Gynaecologist, Nick Panay at the Queen Charlottes’s Hospital, Hammersmith in London. The research team also includes Dr Etienne Horner, Gynaecology Fellow and Sister Alison Cahill, Research Nurse. The study is supported by Novogen UK, makers of Novogen Redclover isoflavones.
Commenting on the progress to date, Nick Panay says: "The response has been terrific. We should now be able to complete the trial in the next six months and may be able to incorporate some volunteers into other PMS trials."
In order to take part in the study, you should be between 20-45 years old and experiencing PMS symptoms. Please complete and return the on-line form if you are interested in taking part and research Nurse Alison Cahill will be in contact shortly.
