NAPS to lead women’s health initiative with Christchurch University
15 Apr 2007
Christchurch University, Canterbury is keen to work with NAPS to help establish a women’s health information centre.
This will initially take the form of an interactive website, 4women.org.uk, aimed at patients and students, which will eventually evolve into an education and research centre run through the Department of Health and Social Care under the leadership of Professor Margaret Andrews, in conjunction with NAPS. The aim is to provide a clinical education package to help professionals worldwide with regard to issues on the perimenopause, menopause, ectopic pregnancies and so forth.
To spearhead this initiative, NAPS will be conducting a survey of our members to help ascertain the type of information needed on the new website.
NAPS hopes to begin work on the new website this autumn. Keep a look out for further updates.
