PMS making headlines
22 Jan 2007
NAPS has been contacted by a freelance journalist writing an article on PMS and PMDD.
Emma Shrimsley writes for a wide range of women’s magazines, including Best, Woman, Take a Break, and REAL as well as for the health pages on The Sun and The Express. She is looking for case studies to help her with the article which will be highlighting symptoms both minor to more extreme along with some of the possible treatments that sufferers have found helpful.
Emma is aiming to interview women who have suffered or are suffering from severe PMS or PMDD to the extent that it has affected their lives and their behaviour towards loved ones. It may be that you are still struggling to cope with it or that you have found a treatment which has worked. Perhaps you have even made the decision to have a hysterectomy.
The article would be produced in one of the women’s magazines and there would be a payment for any case studies used. A telephone interview would be necessary, and a photographer would come and take your photo for the article. Unfortunately, it cannot be someone who has appeared in other women’s magazines in the past.
If you are interested, you can contact Emma on emma@shrimsley.freeserve.co.uk or contact NAPS directly and we will pass on your details.
