NAPS short-listed for top innovation award

NAPS, together with Tunbridge-Wells based web design company, Eonic and Femal,the pollen remedy for PMS, has been short listed for the prestigious 2007 E-Well Being Award.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner taking place at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, London on Thursday March 29 2007. The UK’s only national awards to celebrate the social, economic and environmental benefits of ICT, they showcase the most innovative uses of ICT by local authorities, businesses, third sector organisations and academic institutions.
Commenting on this exciting news, NAPS Chief Executive Chris Ryan said:
“NAPS, Eonic and Femal have together created a powerful new diagnostic tool that helps women take control over their health. To now be considered for such a prestigious award is marvellous news.”
Judges were particularly impressed by the innovative online female health plan developed by the partnership. The centrepiece is a unique interactive menstrual chart that enables women to diagnose and self manage their health and to download the key evidence to improve treatment effectiveness.
Bryon Chatburn, Managing Director of Seaband, who market Femal in the UK said: ”We are delighted to have been involved in this project, supporting NAPS and helping women to find solutions to their PMS problems.”
