Leading UK health magazine is looking for PMS story
14 Oct 2007
“Healthy” “the UK’s number one health magazine” published by health retailer, Holland & Barrett, is looking for women to share their PMS experience with readers of the magazine in an upcoming article. The magazine is sold through the 501 UK Holland & Barrett stores.
The article will be awareness raising, looking particularly at severe PMS. The magazine is aiming to interview a woman aged 30-45 who has suffered from severe PMS and who would be happy to share their experience of the mood swings, aggression and possibly even suicidal feelings that often go hand in hand with severe PMS. The article will also look at how these symptoms may have affected your life/job/relationships. Ideally the magazine is looking for someone who has had a positive outcome and has made lifestyle changes and found relief by taking supplements or using alternative therapies.
The interview would be conducted over the ‘phone and a photographer would be sent to take photos. The journalist would be happy to have the article approved by the person interviewed before going to press. The article would be written in the first person with an accompanying factbox and NAPS’ details. From NAPS viewpoint this would be a very valuable means of showing readers that they are not alone if they suffer PMS and that help is available through NAPS
