Dr. Carrie Sadler, a friend and Trustee of Naps, recommends a new publication
Dr. Carrie Sadler, a GP with special interest in women's health and a Trustee of NAPS, draws our attention to a new publication.
It's title is "Women's Health, Oxford General Practice Library".
The book's authors are Dr. Sadler herself; Dr. Jo White, a GP in Dorset; Dr. Hasel Everitt, a GP and Clinical Lecturer at the University of Southampton; and Dr. Chantel Simon, a GP and MRC Research Fellow, also at the University of Southampton.
The book is one of a series which covers various aspects of Primary Care. It provides information, facts and up-to-date guidelines. It is a useful resource not only for health care professionals working in Primary Care, but also for the general public.
The end of each section includes commonly asked questions, information regarding useful websites, relevant charities and associations.
Chapters in the book include topics such as women in society, breast disease, gynaecology, contraception, pregnancy, and mental health. Finally, there is a section covering miscellaneous topics.
