Claire's marathon bike ride raises a magnificent sum for NAPS

Original target almost tripled

Well I have done my marathon bike ride. In fact it was six of us in total - my wonderful friends and family ensuring I did not take any short cuts! We were very lucky with the weather having an unseasonally hot sunny day.

We set off for Richmond Park with everyone offering an opinion as to the best route. As team leader and guardian of the map I had the final say.

We had a very companionable ride with the only mishap in Richmond Park. Whilst Brian rushed ahead of everyone pretending to have crashed into a tree at the bottom of the hill, my neighbour Jacquetta (his girlfriend) had spectacularly crashed at the top!

After Richmond Park our route took us around Bushy Park, Hampton Court Palace and a couple of fine hostelries! Twenty four miles later we arrived back at our start and delighted at our great achievement not least how much we had raised for NAPS.
Claire's tremendous effort in raising £550 which will directly benefit the work of NAPS and consequently help  us to continue supporting  PMS sufferers
