New Guidelines ready for distribution

NAPS Guidelines on Premenstrual Syndrome being sent to all UK medical practices and walk-in centres. All members to have access to new treatment algorithm.

'Professional members to receive an individual copy as part of their membership benefits.

The NAPS ' Guidelines on Premenstrual Syndrome' have been written by Nick Panay, NAPS Chairman and leading PMS Specialist, to provide up-to-date and detailed information on both PMS and its management for GPs, so as to ensure appropriate treatment for women who seek help for their PMS. They are being sent in early March to 10,237 medical practices and walk-in centres in the UK.

Once their distribution has been confirmed, we will replace the existing treatment algorithm, which can be accessed and printed off by members, with the up-dated version. The Guidelines will also be sent to all professional members as part of their membership entitlement.  They will also be available for purchase from the NAPS office, details being available under Publications.Although written for Healthcare professionals, many women may want to inform themselves of the various treatment options available for their condition and use the Guidelines as a basis for discussion with their doctor.

WHEN THESE CHANGES OCCUR THERE WILL BE AN ANNOUNCEMENT MADE ON THE HOME PAGE. WE EXPECT THIS TO BE IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF MARCH.
