Benefits of membership
Why should I join NAPS?
If PMS is seriously impacting on your life so as to make you feel very unwell, unable to function properly and affecting your relationships, then you need to be able to manage your PMS successfully. Membership of NAPS provides you with both the information and support to do this.
Listed below are the benefits available to members of NAPS which are all valuable to regaining control of your life. We cannot offer you a quick fix to your problems, as every woman has to find a treatment appropriate to her individual needs. However, we can give you the reassurance that this organisation, run both by dedicated volunteers, many of whom are or have been severe PMS sufferers themselves and health professionals, with proven expertise in the treatment of PMS, will assist you now and in the future in managing your PMS successfully.
Health professionals who are responsible for the care of PMS sufferers, are also invited to take up membership of NAPS. In addition to the benefits of standard membership, (The Ask the Expert service can be used for professional support) they are entitled to attend, free of charge, any clinical conferences organised by or with NAPS, and receive 20 copies of NAPS Guidelines on Premenstrual Syndrome for patient use. They will also be able to access clinical presentations delivered at NAPS Study days.
